Wat Phra That Lampang Luang
Wat Phra That Lampang Luang is one of the most highly revered temples in Thailand. According to legend the Buddha once visited the site some 2,500 years ago and donated a hair, which is now enshrined in the temple’s large chedi.
Wat Phra That Hariphunchai
Wat Phra That Hariphunchai Temple is located in the center of Lamphun town near the Mae Kuang river. Its name can be translated to “Temple of the Sacred Hariphunchai Relic”. This is also one of the most highly revered temples in Thailand. Moreover, at the center of the temple, the Large golden Chedi can be found. It was built to enshrine relics of the Lord Buddha.
